Online Orders
1. Placing an Order
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase a product subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
ETHICS 4 BENEFIT GmbH, herewith referred to as e4b, offers for online sale articles provided by its community members with Vendor status, which are in stock and available for dispatch from one of e4b's Concept Stores.
All orders placed are conditional and shall only be considered accepted once e4b has sent an email confirming the order price and estimated delivery time.
Online orders must be placed exclusively through e4b’s Web Store, accessible via the main menu of its website at https://www.e4benefit.eu
e4b does not accept orders placed by email, letter, phone, or fax. Purchases made through e4b’s Web Store are intended solely for end-customers and are governed by the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use of the Website. Such purchases constitute a legal transaction for private use and are not intended for commercial or independent professional purposes.
2. Order Limitations, Availability, and Delivery
e4b reserves the right to refuse orders for multiple quantities of the same article placed by a single customer and shipped to one postal address.
From time to time, e4b may be temporarily out of stock for certain article sizes at its Concept Stores. In such cases, the Customer may contact e4b to inquire whether an advance purchase is possible. If possible, then the Customer will have the option to make an advance payment for the desired article. This guarantees that the Customer’s order will receive priority dispatch once the item is back in stock. e4b accepts advance purchase orders only for articles or sizes that have been scheduled for restocking. The Customer’s rights related to advance purchases are identical to those applicable to any other purchase made through e4b’s sales channels.
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, the location of the dispatching Concept Store, and potential delays caused by postal services or force majeure events, for which e4b cannot be held liable. to enter into a contract with e4b, the end-customer must accept the privacy policy. Without prejudice to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use of the Website, the customer must be at least 18 years old and, where applicable, be authorized to use one of the valid payment methods accepted by e4b.
3. Contract Formation, Price and Order Process
3.1 Formation of the purchase contract
a) When a customer places an Order, they will receive an acknowledgment email confirming receipt of the Order. This acknowledgment does not constitute acceptance of the Order.
A binding purchase contract between e4b and the customer is concluded only when:
- the customer’s payment has been successfully authorized or received, and
- e4b sends a separate Order Confirmation email confirming acceptance of the purchase and commiting to the dispatch of the article(s).
Until this confirmation is issued, e4b remains free to decline the Order at its sole discretion.
e4b reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order or request made by a customer, as well as to suspend or close a customer’s account, at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide justification, particularly in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
By placing an online purchase order, the customer represents and warrants that:
- all personal and payment information provided is true, accurate, and complete;
- the customer is an authorized user of the payment method used for the order; and
- sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the purchase.
3.2 Price accuracy, Availability and Corrections
a) All prices displayed include VAT (where applicable).
Prices of products and services offered through e4b’s Web Store are listed in the currency indicated at checkout and are subject to change. Prices for products sourced or denominated in foreign currencies may fluctuate in accordance with exchange rate variations and other market factors beyond e4b’s control.
Shipping costs, if any, are calculated separately and clearly indicated during the checkout process before the Order is finalized.
b) While e4b strives to ensure that all product descriptions, prices, and availability information displayed on its website are accurate, occasional errors may occur. If e4b discovers an error in the price of an item that has been ordered, e4b will promptly inform the customer and offer the choice to either:
- reconfirm the Order at the corrected price, or
- cancel the order
If the customer cannot be reached within a reasonable time frame, or if the customer chooses to cancel the Order, the Order will be treated as canceled, and any payment already made will be refunded in full.
c) Despite regular maintenance, e4b’s website and related services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information, including but not limited to descriptions, images, pricing, or availability details.
e4b reserves the right to correct such errors or update information at any time without prior notice.
Furthermore, e4b reserves the right to refuse or cancel any Order that was placed based on incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information, including but not limited to errors in pricing, shipping, payment terms, or return policies.
3.3 Online Order and Payment Process
a) Customers can add articles to their virtual shopping basket by clicking on “Add to Cart.” The contents of the basket can be viewed or modified at any time before checkout. To proceed with the purchase, the customer clicks “Checkout” and follows the guided step-by-step Order process.
b) Customers may choose to complete their purchase using a registered e4b customer account or as a guest. e4b recommends creating an account, as this enables faster Order management, tracking, and access to exclusive benefits.
c) During checkout, customers must provide their personal details, billing and shipping addresses, delivery and payment preferences.
Each Order can be shipped to one address only.
Order receipts for domestic (EU) Orders will be sent by email. For international Orders outside the EU, a printed order receipt will accompany the shipment in a separate envelope affixed to the package.
Where available, customers may also choose to collect their Order from a participating e4b Concept Store.
d) Before completing the purchase, customers will be presented with an Order summary to review and correct any errors. By clicking “Place Order,” the customer confirms the accuracy of the information provided and submits a binding purchase offer to e4b.
e) Once the Order has been submitted and an online payment method selected, the customer will be redirected to a secure payment gateway managed by Mollie B.V., acting as e4b’s independent and trusted payment service provider. All payment data will be processed exclusively through Mollie’s encrypted system, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection and security standards.
For deferred payment methods (e.g., bank transfer), the customer must complete payment within the time period specified in the order confirmation email. If payment is not received within that period, the Order will be automatically canceled, and the reserved items will be returned to stock without further notice.
3.4 Order Verification and Confirmation
Following the successful reception of the Customer Order e4b checks whether the following conditions are met, prior to send the order confirmation to the customer:
- payment is received and verified;
- ordered article(s) are available in a e4b’s Concept Store and in suitable condition.
- ordered article's size reasonably fits the customer’s measurements (if customer provided these during check-out or is registered as e4b member with Consumer role and already updated this information in his/her profile)
- Delivery and billing addresses are valid and complete.
- shippment can be delivered to the required destiny within an expected reasonable time;
Once these conditions are met, e4b will send a final Order Confirmation email and arrange shipment or collection. If any verification step fails, e4b will contact the customer via email or phone to clarify or resolve the issue before proceeding.
3.5 Order Cancellation
Unless otherwise provided under these Terms of service or required by law, e4b cannot accept cancellations or modifications once an Order has been confirmed. Customers are therefore advised to carefully review their Order before submission.
Customers may, however, exercise their statutory right of withdrawal under § 355 BGB or return products in accordance with e4b’s Shipping & Returns Policy. In such cases, refunds will be processed following the applicable legal provisions and the stated policy.
4. Promotion Codes (Coupon codes)
e4b may from time to time offer promotional discount codes (Coupon codes) which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases Orders made through its Web store. The conditions of use relating to any discount code (e.g., the validity period)
shall be specified at the time of issuing.
Unless otherwise stated, these terms and conditions apply to all e4b promotions, competitions and discount codes with the exception of the
e4b-credits which are treated as an independent sort of discount and subjected to the Terms and Conditions for adhesion to the e4b
Community as a Consumer.
The promotion codes are subjected to the following conditions:
a) Only one promotion code can be used per purchase Order. A promotional code can't be used after an Order has been placed. Promotions cannot be accumulated.
b) Promotional discount codes can be redeemed as payment or partial payment in the shopping cart. The minimum Order value is €30.
c) The maximum pre-discount spend limit of €500 applies per purchase Order.
d) If the promotional code has expired, then customer should not try to use it.
e) Promotional discount codes cannot be swapped or redeemed for cash.
f) If customer has been given a promotional discount code, then only he/she can apply it when logged in to his/her e4b account and for the purpose for which it was issued.
g) The customer must not pass his/her promotional code around his/her friends, or post it in a forum. He/she should keep it confidential and only use it for customer's own purchases through e4b's Web store.
h) The customer is responsible for the preservation of his/her promotional code(s) as no replacement shall be provided by e4b. In the case that the customer has inadvertently lost it and is used by someone else not intended to, e4b shall proceed to its cancellation as soon as possible.
j) In case a customer breaches in any way these terms and conditions and uses the promotional discount code in a way that e4b considers abusive, then e4b may cancel or withdraw the promotional code at any time, and without prior notice.
5. e4b-credits
The e4b-Credits is a special type of independent discount that rewards loyalty. The way to gather e4b-Credits and to redeem them is subjected to the Terms and Conditions for adhesion to the e4b Community as a Consumer.
6. Gift-cards
e4b offers digital gift cards for purchase through its Web Store. Gift cards can be purchased by a customer and gifted to another end-customer of their choice. When redeemed, e4b gift cards function as a prepaid payment method applicable toward eligible purchases made through e4b’s online sales channels. The following conditions apply to all e4b gift cards:
a) Nature of the Gift Card
- e4b gift cards are non-physical (digital) vouchers that can be used exclusively for purchasing products available through e4b’s Web Store.
- Gift cards are considered multi-purpose vouchers under the German VAT Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, UStG) and are not subject to VAT at the time of issuance. VAT applies only to the purchase of taxable products or services articles upon redemption of the gift card.
b) Purchase and Delivery
- e4b gift cards are issued and delivered only after full payment of the purchase price has been received and confirmed.
- Delivery is considered complete once the gift card has been electronically sent to the email address provided by the purchaser or physically handed over at an e4b Concept Store.
- During purchase, the buyer must ensure that the recipient’s email address (the target end-customer) is accurate and complete.
- e4b ccepts no responsibility for delivery failures, delays, or non-receipt of the gift card resulting from incorrect or incomplete email information, spam filters, server issues, or other technical problems beyond e4b’s control.
c) Validity Period
- Gift cards are valid for two (2) years from the date of purchase.
- After expiry, any remaining balance is forfeited and cannot be refunded or reactivated.
- e4b reserves the right to reject gift cards that have been altered, duplicated, hacked or suspected of fraud.
d) Redemption
- Gift cards may only be redeemed at checkout on e4b’s Web Store and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit balances.
- If the purchase amount exceeds the gift card value, the difference must be paid using one of e4b’s accepted payment methods.
- Only one gift card may be redeemed in a single transaction.
- Unused balances remain available until the card’s expiry date
e) Loss, Theft, and Misuse
- e4b is not liable for the loss, theft, or unauthorized use of gift cards once issued. The risk of loss passes to the purchaser or recipient upon electronic delivery.
f) Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal
- The statutory right of withdrawal under §§ 312g, 355 BGB does not apply once a gift card has been issued and delivered, as the contract is deemed fully performed at that time in accordance with § 356 (5) BGB and Article 16(m) of Directive (EU) 2011/83.
- By purchasing a gift card, the Customer expressly agrees that delivery shall occur immediately after payment and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is thereby waived.
g) Cancellation by e4b
- e4b reserves the right to cancel or refuse a gift card order in cases of suspected fraud, payment irregularities, or misuse.
- In such cases, any payments already made will be refunded unless the cancellation was due to the Customer’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.
h) Resale and Transfer
- Gift cards may not be resold or used for commercial or promotional purposes without e4b’s prior written consent.
- Any resale or unauthorized commercial use may result in the card’s deactivation without compensation.
