General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use of the Website
V1-0, released on 16 October 2025These General Terms and Conditions, in the version valid at the time an order is placed, govern the commercial relationship between ETHICS 4 BENEFIT GmbH, acting as the seller and hereinafter referred to as “e4b”, and the end-customer. They apply to all commercial transactions with end-customers conducted through e4b’s website (https://e4benefit.eu) as well as to related services initiated in connection with online orders, except where other specific terms and conditions apply. Such related services may include, but are not limited to, personal styling consultations, fitting services, and other requests made through e4b’s customer service. Where relevant, these General Terms and Conditions also apply to any user navigating e4b’s website, whether or not they are an end-customer.
Liability
e4b does not exclude or limit its liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or that of its employees. However, e4b shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages the Customer may incur in the following circumstances:
- where the loss or damage was not caused by e4b’s breach of these General Terms and Conditions;
- where the loss or damage arises as an indirect or consequential effect that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the Customer began using the Website;/P>
- where the loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable and apparent to both e4b and the Customer at the time this Agreement was entered into;
- due to e4b’s partial or complete unavailability of the Website, withdrawal of items from the Website, or refusal to accept an order for any reason;
- resulting from a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, virus, or other technologically harmful event that may affect the Customer’s IT equipment, software, data, or other materials as a consequence of using the Website (including downloading any content from it or from linked sites);
- arising from e4b’s failure to fulfill its obligations when such failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control (including, but not limited to, fire, flood, storm, riot, civil disturbance, pandemic, war, nuclear incident, terrorist activity, or other acts of God).
e4b's total liability to the Customer for any loss or damage arising under this Agreement shall not exceed 100% of the value of the articles purchased by the Customer.
The above limitations of liability also apply to e4b’s legal representatives, employees, and members of the e4b community with Vendor role.
Valid Language
These General Terms and Conditions are originally written in German and may be translated into other languages available on e4b’s website (https://e4benefit.eu) to enhance the shopping experience. In the event of any inconsistency or dispute between the translated versions and the original, the German version shall prevail.
German shall also serve as the reference language for all translations.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with German law. The agreed place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contracts between e4b and the Customer is Germany. The Customer irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, e4b reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to initiate legal proceedings against the Customer in the jurisdiction of the Customer’s place of residence.
Partial invalidity
If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

The contents of e4b’s website, web services, and web applications may not be used for commercial or public purposes. They may not be copied, modified, distributed, or made accessible to third parties without prior written authorization from e4b and must always display the relevant e4b copyright notice. Any existing copyright or proprietary notices must not be removed.
Users of e4b’s website are strictly prohibited from engaging in any activity that:
- harms or infringes upon the rights, privacy, or personal dignity of third parties;
- violates public order or morality;
- involves the transmission of obscene, defamatory, offensive, pornographic, or violent content; or
- infringes industrial property rights, copyrights, or any other proprietary rights.
Any attempt to disable, disrupt, or block, in whole or in part, e4b’s website, related web services, or applications is expressly prohibited and may result in civil and/or criminal proceedings.
Users are further prohibited from using e4b’s website, web services, or applications for any unlawful purpose. In particular, users may not register third parties on e4b’s website — for example, as Community members, for newsletter subscriptions, Webstore access, or e4b's Vendors’ zone—without the explicit knowledge and consent of the third party concerned.
